Dr. Hsiao-Wen Su is currently Director of Medical Affairs Division at United BioPharma (UBP). She leads the departments of Medical and Regulatory Affairs responsible for the clinical development of all UBP pipeline products. Since attaining her leadership role, Dr. Su has led the team to achieve several IND readiness and subsequent approvals with regulatory agencies in the United States, Taiwan, and China.

Dr. Su received her B.S. in pharmacy from Kaohsiung Medical University, her M.S. and Ph.D. in physiology and basic medical science from National Cheng Kung University, in Taiwan. Dr. Su completed postdoctoral training at Department of Molecular and Integrative Physiology under the professor Christin Carter-Su. Dr. She has extensive academic knowledge in the field of both Chinese herbal medicine and therapeutic biological products, specializing in cell biology and molecular biology, and has solid practical experience in basic research, non-clinical trials, and human clinical trials of botanical drugs and therapeutic biopharmaceutical products. Till now, she has eleven publications, of which four are the first author.
